HYDROSEEDING

Hydroseeding is a planting process that uses a slurry of seed and mulch. In general hydroseeding is completed on sites that are prone to erosion (road ditches, steep slopes, stream banks) or in large areas where broadcasting seed would take too much time. There are many different materials that can be added to the mix to accommodate site specifications. This makes hydroseeding a versatile option for many applications.

Since the purchase of a Hydroseeder in 2015, Fulton County SWCD was able to assist local governmental agencies as well as residents with erosion control.  Here are a few examples.  If you, or someone you know has a project that may qualify, please contact our office.
